As it currently operates, the “Portfolio Summary” widget on the GS Home page does not respect global filters that are built off of the Relationship object.

For example, if you add a filter such as (CSM > Name) coming from the Relationship object, the Portfolio Summary widget will not adjust and show data based on that. However if you use the same filter but coming from the Company object it will work.

This can be worked around if you pull both in and separate using OR logic however that only works if all Relationships share the same CSM as their respective companies. In some cases that is not always going to happen so the data it yields is incorrect. This deems the widget either inaccurate or not useable all together to avoid End Users seeing wrong information.
