Ability to Change the Default variant of Email Templates

Currently, when you create an Email Template, the first variant becomes the Default.
There is no way to change this or remove this variant from the Email Template.
I would like the ability to choose a different Variant to use as Default. The use case is that as our outreach conditions evolve we may have to use a different existing Variant to act as Default and the only ways to address this are either to create a new (not clone) Email Template and recreate variants starting with the new Default OR to update the filtering criteria within the Outreach or Program. Another use case would be cloning an existing Email Template but wanting to use a different existing variant as default as cloning currently inherits all variant characteristics of the source template.
