I’m looking for insights on whether it’s possible to have a NON-SSO environment for managing temporary accounts . The idea is to create accounts for contract employees so they can complete their training, and once they’re done, we can revoke their access.Does anyone know if such an environment exists or if there’s an alternative solution to achieve this?Looking forward to your suggestions!Thank you!

I dont have hard data, this is just a hunch, but I think we have more posts marked as a spam than before.And the problem is because they are ok posts, they should not be marked as a spam.There are no links, or promotion, or suspicious text, images, nothing.No matter are you new member or active member.Have you seen this also?

I recently discovered that I have been missing DMs from members because the automated messages that get sent when someone reaches a new rank have taken over my message list. The automated messages could be interpreted as off-topic “replies” and they also seem to prevent the DMs sent before them from appearing on the “unread” view. Since the message list only shows the most recent message (which is usually the automated one) and doesn’t show a count of how many messages are in the thread with that member, or let you see an “inbox” view of messages sent to you, it is very difficult to focus on the personal messages that have been sent to me. This definitely affects new members who only need to be somewhat active to trigger new rank messages.Is there a workaround for this, or are there improvements on the roadmap that will make it easier to filter out the automated messages?
Hi there! I have recently feedback from some of our senior executives regarding the flows of Community when a user is not yet registered or not logged in. One of the main points of contention was from the flow of a non-logged in user pressing the ‘create a post’ button (see screenshot from executive below). Has anyone used any custom scripting or know of any workarounds to remove/improve this experience?
Can Gainsight CSQLs be triggered by something like a task or lead created in Salesforce? I am trying to see if Gainsight can solve for the other lead/ Add On requests that currently come in as tasks in SFDC.. Currently we use this mechanism to create a CTA, once a task is created in SFDC it triggers in Gainsight and a CTA is auto created from that SDFC task. So just curious is this can be set up with CSQL..
Seems odd to me that you can in-line update fields in almost every Standard GS Object except the "GS Opportunity Line Item". Below are the GS Standard objects you can inline edit inCase objects GS opportunity Company Relationship Person Relationship person Company personThere are 4 fields we need our CSMs to be able to edit on the GS Opportunity Line Item object that will sync back over to Salesforce. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this or when this standard object will adopt the same functionality as the other GS Standard objects?
About a year ago I joined Gainsight CS Ops, and took over managing Journey Orchestrator in Gainsight’s own instance. As this is one of the most mature, highly used Gainsight orgs, I found out that Journey Orchestrator was highly utilized, but not actively managed. Programs were created, but there wasn’t a coordinated effort to stop programs or manage the active program count. I needed to figure out more information about my JO instance so that I could make informed decisions on how to identify stale, active programs in order to get the active program count into a more manageable state.My solution was to do a reporting deep-dive into Journey Orchestrator and start building reports off of the Advanced Outreach object to get program count/status/type info.The JO Admin dashboard that I created (and have since replaced) is still the primary resource I use to schedule, and track active JO programs, and what I use to identify older programs that aren’t actively sending. Our team is trying to get better about showcasing the time and $ saved by releasing certain pieces of Gainsight functionality. The current usage data makes this very challenging. For example, I can see the number of Cheat Sheet ‘events’ by week but I can’t see if those events were all by the same user or part of the same customer. So are those X event truly using Cheat Sheet X times? or did the user just click through the various tabs, scroll to the bottom, and refresh a couple of times. Those are 2 very different experiences and adoption is not the same. We use to use the refresh metric assuming that they’d always refresh before viewing, but now with auto refresh that isn’t really accurate for what we’re looking for either. Any other suggestions to help us show ROI of key features?
I am using custom pages to create individual landing pages for each of our products. On each landing page, I replicate a typical homepage with tiles that link to the community, knowledge base, and product updates sections.The community tile leads directly to its respective community topic. The knowledge base tile directs users to the relevant knowledge section. The product updates tile should link to the product updates tab, already filtered by the specific product.Currently, I am hyperlinking the URL after selecting the appropriate product filter. However, when a new product update is posted, the URL changes and no longer points to the filtered view of the latest updates.Does anyone have recommendations on how to generate a stable URL that always displays the latest content for the product updates? Or should I consider this a support issue?
We have recently activated the Renewal Center and are bringing in data from Salesforce Opps - I am curious how the “Days Recently Late” datapoint is calculated as it seems inaccurate - see screenshot from today 1/9/25
If I switch from Sync Leads to Sync Opps in production, will the previous CSQLs historical data be deleted ? What happens to the CSQLs that have been created after switching sync option ?
Is there a way to bulk download the CSVs used in JO programs? We’ve sent several program using csv files and I’d like to share these with our IT department. I can go program by program and download them but I was wondering if there is an easier way. Thank you. Trevor
Hey Community! I am wondering if it’s possible to create a custom leaderboard in addition to the current widget you can set up for points? We use the current leaderboard functionality throughout the regular Community. We also have a new Champion Program where it would be awesome to track and showcase the results of those individuals are participating in on a custom page. Has anyone tried to do this? If so, can you share how you accomplished this?Thanks for all your thoughts!
