It would be great if we could have the ability to reorder to fields in a data designer. Often times after a merge, fields get rearranged all over the place. I have a few DDs that get exported to the S3 bucket, but I’m unable to keep a consistent ordering of the fields.

Same use case here!!

+1 the disorganized nature of data and inability to reorder the fields is a major barrier to exporting data to S3 via DD.

Spent several hours last night because we ran into this problem and ended up having to make this janky data designer that really only needed one transformation JUST to order the fields in a specific way for an S3 export:

While not limited to S3 applications, being able to re-arrange the order of fields in general needs to be easier.

@rakesh this is now also a Horizon rules post too :)

+1! This would be so helpful and a time saver!

+1 YES!!  Exporting is a nightmare if you have to add a field!

Absolutely agreed. Take my upvote! For those of us who want to group similar fields together (region, user type, account team info, etc… way easier to keep track of everything if we can drag it where we want it!

@revathimenon, can we get an update and some eyes on this? (also these related posts -- seems like a horizon thing in general, not just limited to data designer or rules)

Hi @dayn.johnson

Roger that!

Hi All,

Acknowledge the enhancement request here and I’ve added it to the backlog. However, it isnt one of our top requests at the moment and I do not foresee us prioritizing this.

Thanks for the update @rakesh!
