That ascending URL is probably more accurately phrased as “Fewest replies” if it doesn’t sort out 1+ reply topics.
Hi @DannyPancratz thanks for submitting your idea. I see the value of having that option for certain roles but do you think end users can also take advantage of it? At control, you can filter topics by their type, select reply count 0, and list all questions without any replies so anyone who has access to control can use that. And also there is this idea already for something similar. You can vote for that one too if it is valuable for your use case.
I'd put this idea to 'open' to collect more votes and feedback.

@dilekgencer Our super users/SMEs need this to be able to answer topics that have not received replies. This is something we offered them on our Q&A forum before we migrated to Insided and something that they are now asking for on the front end.

@dilekgencer thanks for the reply and suggestion of that other idea, I have voted for it.
My colleague @cbeac2432 points out the key issue: we want to enable this for users who don’t have access to Control. Giving super users access to control isn’t an option; the cost doesn’t scale (with them counting as a seat) and they have no use for everything else in Control.
A key part of gamification and super user programs is driving non-admins to reply to posts and answer questions. Tapping into their desire for points or just willingness to help is what we’re after: how do we make it easy for them to find questions where they can make an impact? Let’s surface those more prominently.
And for other users, this should benefit them by recruiting answers and reducing the likelihood their unanswered question gets buried in the feed.
For community managers, it would give us a tool to drive down time to answer metrics.
I see misleading showing under “Unanswered questions” all of those that have no accepted answers. It is not a common practice on other community platforms, like Khoros or AnswerHub.
I would expect to have a view of all questions that have NO REPLY.
