Admin configuration option for default people sort

I’ve had the same request from my teams. Having the ability for an Admin to configure a default “sort by” for the People section would save the inconvenience of clicking the name column every time.

Just received this request and am disappointed that a report section of the 360 allows this (via Report features) but the Person tab itself does not.  Please provide feature parity with this type of 360 section.

Some #productparity would make the Person tab FAR more useable. Asking our CSMs to apply filters (every time) they go there means that they… don’t go there.

If we could actually get our CSMs to use the Person tab, we might actually be able to get them to use the role dropdown – allowing us to better target our JOs, making them even stickier!

Going one step further to echo Dayn’s point… if you are both a PX and CS customer, you need to get all users recorded in the Company Person object to connect the data between platforms. We have some accounts with 10k+ users.

The People tab is so cluttered that users are forced to rely on filtering, a mechanism that is currently hampered by critical functionality gaps

• You can’t order by that field if the field is a Multi Select dropdown, nor use a not null filter (multi picklists are a huge pain point across the platform, inviting ​@alizee to chime in)
• Neither applied filters nor custom sorting orders are sticky, forcing users to rebuild their view every time they access the tab.
• You can sort just by one field at a time

Agree with this. The People section could really benefit from some attention to make it a more user-friendly area. 

It’d be great to be able to apply multiple sort criteria in order (ex: usage type [power user > inactive user], last name A-Z) and have the default, admin-applied filter only show active users. Dream state.

Should work like cockpit: admin defined views and custom user defined views that stick (last view stays).

On multi-picklists… 😭😭😭
