We use JO programs to communicate with our internal users--which includes both our employees but also partners who use Gainsight to support our customers. We also use JO programs to survey our internal users--for example, on their feedback using GS, working with the CS Ops/Admin team, how we can better support internal enablement, and so on. 

 

Unfortunately we are not able to use a survey element on the user object JO programs. This means we cannot trigger a follow-up email if they haven’t responded, or a thank you email if they have responded. By only having the email element available to us on the user object, we are only able to trigger these program outcomes based on whether they click the link or not. 

 

Please add the survey element to user object JO programs! It seems like an easy change that would add value to us (and I’m sure many other customers). 

😳 😱 the new JO limitations just keep on coming. we also survey our internal users on their satisfaction of our systems & processes. we’ve been doing so since we implemented Gainsight and are expecting to do our 4th round this July. good to know that I’ll need to stick to the old JO…more and more reasons to just not use the new JO, unfortunately.

This… feels like every Monday check-in with my manager, I’m reporting yet another reason not to start converting our programs to the new JO. What’s gonna be next?


I ran into this limitation recently as well.  I wanted to send a survey to an internal exec asking if they’d received a response from a customer, and if not, trigger a CTA for another leader to follow up.  Can’t do it.  Would really like to have the same options available in User and Company programs (except the requirement for a Company GSID).
