Automatically mark email assist task as complete when email is sent

We currently have CTAs using Email assist tasks. Sometimes CSMs are marking the Email assist tasks as completed without sending emails.





To enforce the email communication is done - the task should be greyed out for closing manually and close once the email is sent.





Atleast this should be an option we can set when configuring the tasks in the playbook



@parimala_agnihotri we understand the importance of this feature and I will definitely escalate this to our product team. I can suggest an alternate way to find out whether the task is closed manually or sent via email assist.

@sai_ram_pulluri this helps me report on it. Definitely a workaround.





However, does not help enforce the task and ensure the email is sent. It beats the purpose of having this task in a playbook if I have to manually follow up and police the list in the report.





Would love to head the product team's feedback.

This is an old thread so earlier statuses might have gotten dated … Converted it to an Idea so that Admins can vote up to add weightage 


Auto closing these CTAs will eliminate a lot of extra clicks and forgotten steps!
