Getting constructive feedback on content from Community users is challenging. The content helpfulness emoji’s are a step in the right direction and at least enable Community managers to get a sense of what content is helpful and what content is not so helpful.

Can an option be added so that if a user selects the unhappy emoji a box can appear to give them the ability to provide written feedback?

Having specific feedback about an article will be much more helpful than just knowing that it isn’t helpful.

I'm grave digging this old idea as this is something we're running into as well.
We're seeing some of our knowledgebase articles getting a lot of 🙁 responses while we know that the information contained in it is good and helpful and so on.

So, we want to know why our customers give a negative helpfulness score. Having an open textfield they can fill in when they choose 🙁 would help a lot.

We've stopped using the helpfulness indicators as we are not getting usable feedback out of it. The base idea of it is great, but its implementation is severely lacking.
