We have use cases when end users reassign CTAs (not mass-edit use cases).
When re-assigning CTAs, end-users report that it is cumbersome to always click “yes” on the pop-up question to reassign the tasks owned by the CTA owner.
Idea: Create a setting that we can enable that will automatically reassign the tasks (avoiding the need for the pop-up).
I understand some companies may have use cases where there are different task owners on the same CTA. For this reason, proposing a setting that we can enable that will do the task reassignment automatically.
We’ve never had a scenario when the tasks didn’t also need to be assigned to the CTA owner.
This is the reply I received from Gainsight Support:
“It is an expected behavior, that the External Attendees will be cleared out when the Company/Relationship is changed. The reason is that under the current system, we can only include External Attendees who are affiliated with a Company/Relationship selected either within the Primary Context or with the Company/Relationship associated with the specific activity.”

This would be a good QoL enhancement for admins and end users alike. We have scenarios where CSMs need to reassign CTAs, and often (especially for CSMs newer to Gainsight) the pop-up in the bottom left is missed, which means the CTA is moved, but they remain the owner of the tasks. The ability to have a global setting to automatically change task owners when the CTA is reassigned would be nice. Gets my upvote.
