Right now, the existing integrations in CE and CC will write information to Gainsight CS. When will the integrations be bi-directional, to get customer/user data to flow into CE and CC?

  • I believe there are current workarounds but this isn’t documented anywhere
  • When will the integrations be able to work without the workarounds?

We’re going live with CE in two weeks and think this would be extremely helpful. Upvoted 😄

Thanks for sharing this. There are currently no product enhancements planned for CE (Northpass) in this area. However, there has been really good progress on the CS-to-CC data sync, with first deliverables shipping as early as the next days! I’ll share this thread with my colleague leading that initiative so he can add more context.

Bi-directional data flow is a frequent topic as teams look to create a tighter loop between Customer Success, Community, and Education. ​

@ashlever ​@baraica could you help us clarify a few things about your current setup?

  • Which platform are you using? When you mention CE, are you currently using Gainsight CE (formerly Northpass) or Skilljar?

  • What are your primary use cases? What are you looking to achieve or power on the education/community side once that customer and user data flows back in?

  • What specific data points are you hoping to sync? It would be incredibly helpful to know exactly what customer/user data fields you want to pull from Gainsight CS (e.g., account health scores, customer tiers, specific user attributes) to understand the full scope of what you need.
