Remove Time from Timeline Activity

Some of our CSMs are asking if the time next to the date can be removed when logging an activity, with one even stating, “It seems largely irrelevant and just more fields to fill.”

 

 

They would love for it to be removed.

    As a counterpoint, I find it useful for reporting when trying to find the “most recent” of some type of activity and you need to use “Activity Date”.

    If it was just date, if you entered several on the same day, they’d all show up as “most recent”. So how do you decide which to use?

    While still possible with a DateTime, this is less likely to happen, especially if the CSM ignores the time component. It defaults to the DateTime you created the entry - so even if you had to pre or post date the activity, you’d still have a defaulted time component for extra uniqueness.
