Success Plan / Snapshot 2.0 Export Capabilities
CS Success Plans
We were excited about exporting success plans with the new 2.0 functionality, but find the lack of configurability to be a bit disappointing. I would love to have the following capabilities added. Anyone agree? Others you would add?

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Glad that you are excited about Success Snapshots. The capabilities you have mentioned are quite valid and we will consider them for further enhancements.
In the first version of Success Snapshots 2.0 that we released we did not include any special support Success Plans yet. We wanted to put the product in customer's hands as early as possible to get some feedback on the overall concept. That being said we will soon build the support for supporting Success Plan in Success Snapshot and any inputs would be helpful!

We are adding special support to include Success Plan in Success Snapshot. This will be out in your hands within one month. In this release you can add
Can you expand on the limitations / lack of capabilities? Gantt chart is the only gap at this point of time in complete Success Plans support.
One other item I feel is missing is the ability to create a new slide directly from within SS2.0. I uploaded a deck with only 3 slides, one of them being a general, open slide with a single element. I can clone that slide, but lets say I need a general slide with 3 elements, I cannot create that within SS2.0. If I upload a new version of the slide deck to the same Snapshot I'm working on, it overwrites all the customizations I already made, so I have to create and customize a new Snapshot, simply to add an additional slide. That's a lot of effort.
I realize that's more of a Snapshot issue than Success plan, but thought I'd call it out.
For the 2nd comment, this is Success Plan's direct PPT export. Its a hardwired export with limited functionality. If you added Success Plan to a Success Snapshot (2.0), it automatically gets added (or asks to select one when there are multiple Success Plans per account) when you export from 360. Integration here would make sense once more exports happen via Success Snapshot 2.0 than via the hardwired route. @aditya_marla
When you click on Share Plan and see an option to Export to PPT, but then you get an error because there are no Success Snapshots available, (because Gainsight is moving away from SS 1.0 in favor of SS 2.0) can you not see what a poor end user experience that is?
Either integrate the Success Plan hardwired export to use Success Snapshot 2.0 or remove the hardwired Export to PPT option within Success Plan and require the use of the Export from C360.
It is confusing in the state it is currently in.
We just want to do that with minimal disruption to end user experience for the users who are using SP PPT export. It shouldnt be the case where they suddenly have to ask their admins to configure a SS 2.0 just because we just launched SP support in SS 2.0. Confusion is because of the transition state.

The biggest area of opportunity I see with the new export is the sort order of objectives. In the objective overview slide, I can tell they are ordered alphabetically, but in the proceeding slides with objective and tasks, they do not match the overview slide order. This is confusing. We would like to have the ability to command the order of the overview slide and proceeding slides by things like due date, status, open task count, etc.
I tested re-sorting the objectives in the success plan prior to export to see if this made a difference in the order, but it does not. I would love to see the ability to sort in the success plan and have the export follow the sort order.
One other item to note is that in the old success plan export from success plan, we had some plan-specific graphs showing objectives and tasks by priority. I attempted adding a report graph to the new snapshot 2.0 template, but the data came through as global, not specific to the plan or client. How is the report addition to be useful if it is not commanded specific to the client or success plan the user is exporting?
Again, thank you for the enhancements! We look forward to further evolution of this feature.

@erikallen and @lauren_kennedy just FYI - enhancements requested for Success Snapshots 2.0
For the first one, you can include any field you want by editing the report. I also answered your separate post.
Adding Gantt charts is on the roadmap. On the order of the reports data, can you try applying ranking to the respective reports on the field you want? (these tables are actually reports in Report Builder)
On the other ask(closed tasks in italics), I will check the feasibility of the ask with the team first.
Are these charts really useful? I would love some more info on the benefits of the charts.
Meanwhile, I will try to see if we can achieve what we had with SP PPT export.
The most critical outstanding item is around sort order of objectives and tasks. I tried to sort using ranking, but the only type of ranking for any field in the reports is Top N or Bottom N records. Even if the objectives were ordered by something like due date, how would the separate task report map to the objective order?
Hi@rakesh ,
Could you please let us know, when can we expect to export success snapshot 2.0 directly from the success plan.
Hi@rahul_prayakarao ,
Could you please take the above request on priority as customers are looking for this option from last 3 months.
