Allow More Scorecard Exceptions

Right now, I have a customer who would like to heavily leverage scorecard exceptions, but they ran into a limitation in which you can only add three criteria per exception and five exceptions total. It would be nice to expand this capability, especially for customers looking to implement more advanced logic and/or have a lot of scorecard measures.
Hey Spencer, can you share a little more detail around the use case that would drive the need for more than three criteria per exception and more than 5 exceptions total?
Hi Dan,

One of my customer is also looking for increase in the limit of scorecard exceptions. Below is the use case:

Customer created a Gut check measurement to override all other measurements on the scorecard if one of the CSM's on an account changes the Gut Check measure. There is a limitation of only 5 exceptions per score card, I am using 4 already. We were going to create an exception for each scorecard color, we have 5. We are unsure how I can make the Gut Check exception work in this case? .

Hi Hardik,

This is easily solved by creating a manual measure that is weighted at 99.9% and normally set to N/A, meaning the score value would not be used in calculating overall score.

But if the CSM sets the gut check score to a value, it now effectively overrides all the other scores due to the weighting. Setting it back to N/A will restore normal conditions.

This is probably the best way to accommodate a manual measure that would be used in an override condition.

Thanks for the reply, Dan!

I think this should help customer as per the use case.

Hardik

Hello Everyone,

Happy to announce that your request has been considered and included as part of the v6.15 release. You can now delete Opportunity Records from GS Opportunity. Admins can now add Exceptions for measure groups as well as use conditions based on measure groups when configuring exceptions for the Overall Score. This gives them more granular control over measure group scores and the Overall Score. Only the measures within a particular group can be used to create an exception for the group.

This feature is implemented in both SFDC and NXT versions.

Thanks for posting!

It appears there is still a limitation of 5 override measures per scorecard. Has this been increased? We have 5 active override measures and look to add several more.

Hi Rakesh! @rakesh_lingala Based on the original request, it looks like the admin is trying to add more than three criteria per exception. We would like to do the same. We’re currently on SFDC and I was unable to add more than three. Was this supposed to have been updated in 6.15 or was that related to a different issue?
