I’d like the easy auto-complete experience of @ mentioning a user when I’m writing an email campaign, as well as the auto-linking to their user profile. 

Obviously, it shouldn’t trigger the @ mention system email, but I think other elements of the experience should be at feature with topic creation and moderation. 

Use case: Shouting out or even just mentioning users in a newsletter or email campaign. Leaderboards, recent badges, user spotlights, super users, quotes etc, etc, etc, etc.
