Fórum NOS’s story continued to be inspirational as we dove deeper. 🔥

In this part of the discussion, we dove into their user milestone celebration with the community & a glimpse into some tips and tricks from their experience of launching their community.

Congratulations to NOS on recently hitting 100,000 registered users🎊

- please take us inside how you celebrated this milestone with your larger community.

On behalf of NOS, I thank you again. It was a very important milestone for us and for the entire community.

The contribution and help provided over time by the inSided team helped us to reach this number in such a short time!

In just a few years we have built a robust, healthy and mature community, doubling the number of registered users in less than 3 years to an incredible 100,000 members. We carried out a series of initiatives in various media to promote and highlight the importance of the Fórum NOS and this milestone, for the community, customers and NOS.

At Fórum NOS, we created an article to celebrate the achievement, in which we congratulated and reinforced the overall objective of our community, while highlighting and rewarding the contribution of the most active users.

We also created a challenge for the entire community in which we rewarded the best contributions with various NOS products and services.

This helped us in not only celebrating the historic milestone, but also to engage our users and popularize it with other customers. Both actions were very well received and celebrated by the community.

The celebration was widely displayed in the main NOS media, namely at NOS Website HP and in some LPs,  NOS App HP, in recurring NOS newsletters and on our Intranet.

A few of the messages that made us proud and continue to keep us blushing: 😊

“Congratulations @Forum,

I don't give up on you. A very special shoutout in this celebration to my fellow pillars, the "Super Users", for all the companionship, imparted wisdom and kind hearts. We have our hearts in the right place, this is half the way to realizing the importance of what we propose to do in this space”

“Congratulations to everyone, the Forum will grow even more and with everyone's support and the camaraderie that exists here. It goes a long, long way. Many congratulations to you all once again.”

“What would become of us without YOU and you without US(NOS)”

“Congratulations to the Fórum and all participants, good luck to all!”

“Congratulations to the Forum and to all “US (NOS)” who are the “Fórum””

What advice would you give to those who are looking to newly launch their communities?

  • The launch of a community can be seen as a great opportunity to approach the customer base. This gives more importance and power to the customer's voice and the customer starts feeling represented, while at the same time showcasing the transparency of the brand itself. It is a unique relationship, which few can provide, however it also represents a great challenge and responsibility.

Above all, you must know your business and type of customer well in order to be prepared and know how to respond to all situations.

  • It is important, at a transversal level, that the various areas of the company are aligned and in symbiosis so that communication is with a single voice and the whole community feels accompanied, answered and its voice heard.
  • The community also serves its own audiences, with specific needs whose language must also be appropriate to it.

Deep down, it also becomes a social destination.

Fórum NOS had been in existence for quite a while now and they’ve had their share of challenges. Their principle of associating their community with ‘Michelin stars’ has been a unique approach to tackling challenges.

Read more about it on the next part of the series - to be released next week! 🙂
