As we all continue to grow our own communities, we want the learning to be more shared and inspirational for each other on this platform. And no better place for that than within the inSpired community itself.

If you’ve been part of inSpired for a while, I’m sure you’ve also benefited from the numerous discussion opportunities that @DannyPancratz  has pioneered here.

I’m excited to kickstart the Behind the Scenes series with the journey of Unqork, led by Danny Pancratz.

Let’s meet Danny & hear all about the community of Unqork.

What kind of people are on Unqork’s community?

What was Unqork’s journey to the community it has today?

Stage 1: A Scrappy Start

“The use case or business case for our community really started kind of internal, for our own staff working directly with some of our partners as we serviced our initial wave of clients.”

Stage 2: Finding a Platform with Trial-and-Error

“We needed to have those same answers to questions, that same knowledge base available to ever-expanding groups of our creators, staff, partners and customers as well.”

Stage 3: Combatting Complexity

“After a month I joined, we went LIVE on InSided and have just continued to scale and build a really great community ever since then.”

“Once you bring things together into a cohesive experience, how can you add to that? But in a way that it doesn’t kind of recreate the problem you solved initially by unifying that experience.”

What did it take to build momentum on community

in the early days after launch?

“So the first couple of months were very much about adoption awareness & really changing the conversation around this idea of community and what it was. Introducing them to this new unified experience, expanding the idea of what community is with the new features that we had to think beyond Q&A.”

“So it really took us probably our first 6+ months & I saw people who had flagged as somebody who didn’t come over in the migration. I’m seeing those people popping up now as active again, which is great.”

Something from the conversation that had us smiling a tad bit extra 🙂

“I had launched InSided at my previous company, so that familiarity was very helpful. But even for my colleagues who hadn’t used InSided before - we had a very positive implementation experience.”

Having been a part of inSpired community for over 2.5 years now & upholding his approach on ‘Walking the walk’, Danny has recently hit the milestone of 10,000 points on inSpired! 🔥

More on that coming up soon.

Watch out for Part 2 of this series! 😉

Special thanks to @Vishwas Katti  for sharing my excitement on this series & diving deep with Danny for this discussion.
