We are giving a set of (early adopter) users a special badge. I’d like to be able to also assign them points tied to the badge, but I’m not seeing a way to do that in Control.
Is that possible? Thanks!

Unfortunately I don’t believe there’s a way to do this in control. What I would do is award them points via the API after you awarded them the badge.
