Is there a way to recover the number of activities since the last log in of a user?
The aim would be to display our users the number of unread topic/comment/ … since last connexion on the community directly within our app.

While an in-app notification center is not a functionality yet, there is an active idea that can be voted on here. I have voted for the idea, and I encourage you to as well! Internally, there have been discussions around app notifications, so your interest very timely.
