I would like to start using seed questions to encourage thought leadership conversation in my community. How have have some of you been able to do this? Do you just reach out to your members and ask them to post a pre-written question? Should I use our internal employees to post questions?
We wrote our own as best we could. We soft launch on Monday, so we’ll see soon how it goes. Mixed results with our small group of testers: some replies, some that haven’t driven any new conversation yet.
I believe the implementation advice is to use your product team and/or customer service team to surface FAQs and common pain points to use as seed content and questions. We’re an independent community, separate from the technology vendor we’re focused on, so we didn’t have that option.
