We want to expand our ranking & badging and involve activities such as social media shares from the community. ie. When users share a community article on their (LI, FB, 
they receive a badge. The question is how can we check this

Yes, I would love that offered as an opportunity to gamify, OOTB without having to work with Apis. This needs to be an idea.

Yes please! Additionally, user could receive points when sharing community content to the social channels.
