I’m not sure if this is a known issue or not, but I thought I’d post it here first to check.

With the new Events beta, I can’t seem to create an event with the same day start/end:

Maybe it’s upset because I’m adding it in New Zealand?!

Interestingly, it let me create it with May 17th as the end date, then edit it back to May 16th. So I’ve got my event in the system, but it needed that little workaround.

Hi @FMEEvangelist, thanks for sharing your feedback! We have tried and tried, but couldn’t reproduce your problem.

What operating system are you using, and which browser are you using? And what’s your current timezone?

In the mean time, can you try creating the event in another timezone (be sure to offset the event times accordingly)? All event times in Control and Destination will be shown in the user’s local timezone anyway.

@FMEEvangelist We’ve just deployed a potential fix. Could you force refresh the Events page (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) and try again?

Hi @Sebastian - thanks for that. I just tried it again, creating a new event in the same NZ timezone, and this time it worked first time. So it looks like your fix worked.

Thanks for that.

fyi, I’m using Firefox 123.0 on Windows 10 Pro. I’m in CST Central Time (Winnipeg, Canada). If the issue does arise again, I’ll record a video, so you can see the exact steps I was taking.
