For the Banner widget it would be helpful to be able to set a target on button links as currently they all open in the same window. For example, we often have a primary CTA that will be taking folks somewhere else (e.g. register for a program or event on another platform) and a secondary CTA that is maybe to content in the community to learn more.

Optionally, this could also be set by default so that if an external link open new tab/window and if internal to the community open in the same tab/window.

I am over here trying to think of literally any workaround short of creating the banner widget on my own from scratch. I feel like there has to be some way to override the code on this, but truly… stumped.

It’s just a really bad user experience likely tossing them off our community and somewhere they can’t navigate back.
