Better visualize the ability to edit an idea or reaction

Idea

I'd like to propose to move the Edit-option next to the other options that are visualized directly on the screen (or some other way of informing the user that this option is present).

Reason

Since 2 weeks, our Community members are able to edit their own ideas or reactions within 60 minutes of creation, as mentioned here:

After this, I received feedback that many Community members don't even know this option exists, because it is tucked away behind the 3 dots. If you've got it, flaunt it 😉.

I’m not sure it makes sense from a UX standpoint because the other options are to interact with the idea (like, quote or best answer in the case of a question), and editing the idea is not the same type of action. It’s also limited to the author of the idea.

I can understand where you are coming from, this indeed seems like a valid reason for the current visualization.

However, that doesn't change the fact that it's unfortunate if people don't know they can use the edit-option. If you or anyone else have other suggestions on how to make this clearer, I'd love to hear them.

New IdeaOpen

Thanks for your feedback on the edit option placement. The edit feature is behind the three dots to keep the interface clean and focus on primary interactions like likes and replies. However, I understand this can be less intuitive. We will explore how we can make it better. Meanwhile, keeping this idea open to get more votes.
