Change default option 'question' or 'conversation'.

I just voted for this and would like to add / agree with feedback that question as the default option is not ideal for our community. 

Just a week in, we’re getting a fair number of user requests to correct their questions to conversations, and staff are having the challenge as well. We are much more likely to have conversations and ideas than questions, so it’d be great to be able to change the default … or if the default just changed to conversation with users able to switch to question similar to how they do for an idea. 
 

We’re also having issues with this on our community. I think a lot of new users don’t realize there is a difference between questions and conversations--or even that they can create more than one type of post. This creates more admin work going through and converting questions into conversations rather than spending that time connecting people with SMEs who can help them.

Added this idea that could lead to an initial workaround solution for this bigger picture idea. Consider a vote here, as I assume it’d be a much faster idea for GS to build. 

Now looking into this as an admin setting we can add! We will also explore ​@DannyPancratz’s addition on adding a URL param so you can send users to a specific link as well in certain cases.
