CAn we using a Dialog to engage users in external testing?

Hi all , we are trying to use a dialog to serve up a link to our user testing platform via a custom button in the dialog.

The CTA analytics seems to be firing appropriately, but what we are running into is that even if a user sees the dialog, since they are automatically captured as COMPLETED and VIEWED at the same time, we have no way of using Internal scheduling to show the dialog again if they didn’t click the button and actually follow the link.

Are we doing something wrong? is this even possible? Using a Guide would be possible, but seems like overkill and not a very elegant way to simple ask them to check out some new designs for a feature etc.

@clamoureux - We had run into a similar issue last year. We implemented Gainsight PX custom events to track the clicks on the button as a “feature” in Gainsight then would add audience logic that the user has never used that feature.
