Hey 2 things:we recently migrated our community to GS we have recently setup ongoing automated email campaignsSome of these campaigns are triggered by user registration date: 1, 7, 14 days post-registration (ie. registration date > 1 day)However it seems like this is not being respected and sent to users who registered a while ago, on our previous community. Some registered in 2020… but it seems like the system ignores their migrated registration date and will trigger these emails once they log in for the first time on the new portal…We have a user that just received the 3 campaigns in one go…  😅Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi team, We noticed for spam automations that if a user makes a comment, such as “Great” and then edits the comment to be something that would otherwise be caught in spam prevention automations (like a curse word for example), it doesn’t get flagged at all. I don’t think this is the biggest deal and highly unlikely, but my team does have concerns about this so I wanted to check if this is a known issue or if there’s a setting we can update in Control to avoid this potential spam edge case?

We just launched our community to the first of 5+ products: community.bonterratech.com as I am preparing the migrate content for our second product, I am examining how we can filter sections of the site that you cannot control the visibility for. For example, when a user from Product 1 logs in they will only see Community + Articles for Product 1 because I am able to set permissions at the Category level for Product 1 custom role. But, Events, Product Updates and Product Ideas do not allow for permission settings of certain content based on a custom role so I have to expose all of the content to all of the different product users. With 4+ event types and 5+ products on the same platform, I’m running into the issue of having a LONG list of event types because I am having to use the Product Name + Event Type to allow users to be able to sort to see what they need to see. Am I missing another way to do this? is there a way to filter/sort

I want a guide to remember what slide a user last exited on, and jump/show that particular slide on their return visit. AI suggests this is possible in GainSight PX but I can’t seem to locate the option. Can someone direct me to where this is please?AI suggestion: Log in to Gainsight PX and go to Engagements → Guides. Select the guide you want to edit. Click Settings (usually in the top navigation for that guide). Under Behaviour or Advanced Settings, look for: Resume from Last Step (sometimes phrased as “Continue where user left off”). Enable this toggle so the guide will pick up from the last completed step for returning users.

I got notification from Google Search Console: There is a link to a specific topic (question). There is no answer marked as a solution.--Any idea what this means and what I can do?

Could the Product Ideas module (post, and upvote) be opened up into just Groups in the community?Like if I wanted to create a specific group in the community, and only let this group have access to use the product ideas module is this possible?

Hello, we are considering using the Salesforce Unified Knowledge integration to essentially allow federated search on our Gainsight CC knowledge base from within Saleforce Cases and Salesforce Community/Experience. Has anyone done this particular integration before?We are curious about the degree of difficulty in setting it up and maintaining it, as well as how smoothly it functions. 

I think the answer is no, but I need to confirm. Previous colleagues created some API keys for integrations into various business systems (ex. Snowflake, Tableau, etc). They have not logged-in as an Admin in Control for 3+ years. We’ve kept them active as a seat on our team because we thought they needed access for those integrations. But it turns out the ETL pipelines are just using the API keys created by that user. Will deleting, deactivating, and/or removing from the Admin team impact the API keys created? 

Hi GainsightCE community! We’re working on a new badge system/gamification strategy for our internal teams. I’m curious - how do you use badges in GainsightCE? 

We are new to Skilljar and Articulate Rise. We have some very lengthy SCORM content created in Rise that is organized with sections and lessons, but we find that when updates to the content is required, we have to replace the SCORM file and it forces existing learners to start over. What is the best way to handle this. Is it an industry practice to not put all the content in one SCORM but to use multple SCORM packages in a course structure in Skilljar so that progress is not reset?

Is there a way to pin a pdf document in a Private Group, that’s not done through a post or discussion?

Hi everyone, I wanted to change the logo that appears on my profile picture (image for reference attached below). It is the one that shows all users that anyone with this logo is an internal team member/from the company. We have a dedicated custom role attached to this, which is manually assigned by us when the new user registers, and when assigned as ‘Team’ for example, this logo then appears on their profiles.  I’ve already changed the specific team badge to our new logo but this one doesn’t change and I cannot find the right settings for it. I believe it’s not added via the standard approach in Control. Could you please guide me if any of you have also enabled something like this for your communities?

Hi!  I'm looking for insight on how people are handling optional lessons in your courses.Our Challenge:While I appreciate that Skilljar provides an optional lesson setting, I've found that the dotted circle icon visual indicator isn't intuitive for our learners. Many don't realize they can complete the course without finishing those lessons :-(  Our Current Workaround:We’ve been adding "Optional Lesson" directly in the lesson title (e.g., "Optional Lesson: How to Edit a Field"), but this feels clunky and clutters the lesson titles.My Questions for You:Are your learners also confused by the optional lesson indicator?  Have you found effective ways to communicate that a lesson is optional? Do you use any other workarounds (e.g., include some details on optional lessons in your course intro explanation)?I'd like to find a solution that's clear to learners without having to manually modify the lesson

Hello GS CC folks! Im looking to assign a few thousand badges to users within our community. Support recommend using the API to update the badging. I have not done this before and the only thing I given by support was a url of https://api2-us-west-2.insided.com/docs/user/#tag/User:-Badges/operation/awardBadge  Has anyone done this before? Do you have any tips? The system asks for IDs however there is no clarification on what the ID actually is. Is it a number? Is it a username? Is it a different ID you cannot see in admin?Thanks for any advice!

Hi there, I am new to Insided Platform but 15 years in Community. We now live for 3 weeks and things are doing great. We are now starting to build more groups and want to add more to the group page. right now there is jus the feed, about group and members. you like to add stuff like featured content and such. Can you edit these pages? Or other options.

We have a use case where we want to create email segments for community members who are a member of a specific group and use a specific product line (there are 3).I’m looking at two options:A “Products Used” field on the user profile with multi-select checkboxes Custom role for Group+Product or just ProductI would prefer to use the first option, because it is more elegant and allows for the possibility of letting the user fill it in themselves.  The down side of that option is that I don’t see a way to fill in those fields for multiple users at once and don’t currently have access to any API tools that would allow that.The custom role can be applied to multiple users at once, but since we will only be applying the role to a small subset of community members, I am somewhat concerned about it being confusing or difficult to maintain over time.Any advice?  Am I missing any other options?  We also have Gainsight CS but I don’t use i

Our support team has recently migrated to using Jira Service Management for handling support ticket. To continue offering a view into support tickets for our CSMs, I have set up a connection to our Jira instance and I’m now able to pull all tickets from the Support project.However, I’m currently struggling to link the tickets to the appropriate Company/Relationship in Gainsight. In Jira, tickets are linked Organizations, which would map to our Relationships. The only potentially related field I find on the Incident and Project objects in Gainsight seems to be fields.reporter.accountId but I cannot see the long hashes I get from that field on the Organization page (let alone produce a list of Organizations with their related accountID).Has anyone else synced Jira support tickets to Gainsight? If so, how are you linking tickets to the appropriate Company or Relationship?
