The buzzword of 2023 has to be ✨ AI ✨

With so much potential and endless possibilities, it is hard not to think about AI 24/7! We’ve been working hard to build meaningful and impactful AI features that will make it easier for you to do your job effectively.

Today, we’re excited to roll out a beta program for THREE community-specific AI features. Join the beta and be the first to experience the power of generative AI in your community!

Want an inside look at what is coming? Keep reading!

Email Generator

It has never been easier to start using our Email Campaigns feature! Leverage generative AI to draft email content and kickstart the email creation process with just a few simple prompts.

Content Assist

Draft and publish community content using generative AI to simplify how you create powerful self-serve resources. Use this easy-to-use tool to draft Knowledge Base articles and Product Updates to accelerate workflows and improve resources.

(Do you think we used Content Assist to write this?! 😏)

Tag Assist

Improve how your community members search and find content with AI-suggested public tagging based on the community topic and content. This feature will populate relevant metadata on new topics ensuring that content is categorized appropriately.

Which feature are you looking forward to most? Let us know in the comments below and remember to join the waitlist so you can try it out for yourself!

Tag Assist covers something I always have to think of as a separate process and will help me greatly.  All these updates are great!

Looking forward to learning more! The form mentions OpenAI - are these features utilizing it?

Could you make the Subprocessor info public please?

If we have multiple members on the team, should all of us fill out the Google form or is one person filling it out for everyone enough?

Thanks!

FYI @zitalaszlofi @cclements @MeghanM

Oh, I would like to join but I am not sure about the subprosessors. How does they differ compared to our current situation?

I am interested especially Content Assist and Email Generator.

Hi @security_lion - yes we are using OpenAI for these features. About the subprocessor document, we’ll check internally and come back to you on this! Thank you!

Hi @echen I believe one person for the team should be enough 🙂 Thank you!

I’ve made the doc link public. :)

Hi!
When does this beta program start (and end)?
Thanks!

Hi @Eva ! The program will start within the next 2 weeks, and will remain open for the next month or two for users to opt in 🙂 - don’t hesitate if you have further questions!

Thanks Manon,

and are we going to be informed as soon as we can take part in the Beta or in case we haven’t been considered?

@Manon Is the general opt-in still expected by February?

@Sebastian, @vishkatti adding you on this thread for engagement.

@Jessica.Quazza  I would really like to test out the Beta if possible. Our organization is also trying to determine how we might be able to implement our own GenAI bot on our Customer Community.

With concerns with unfettered access to intellectual property that may she accessible in a community, what would be truly amazing is the ability for clients to integrate their own AI into the program that runs on Community. This would allow for controlled access to a subset of data that is unique to each Client Hosted Community.

D&B is in the process of working through this process right now, so if we could help partner on this front while still in Beta, please reach out to me.

I can see that there are new AI powered tools in the Control. I think I havent asked to join Beta?

How about those sub processors I asked? We havent done any security checks here.

EDIT:

@Jessica.Quazza  Can you please elaborate on the AI tagging? If we have a limited tags to only tags we have created in Control, can AI still make a recommendation based on the available tags?

@JPKelliher For the time being, we have decided to park this feature, optimize it in the meantime, and broaden the scope to not only suggest public tags, but also categories and product areas, also to accommodate for your request (either limiting it to only existing tags, or choose the balance between choosing existing tags vs creating new ones if necessary). You can expect to see the improved version of this feature later this year.
