I’ve talked to numerous folks who have heard about this “Gainsight Admin” thing, and have started to explore the career. Some already work at Gainsight customers, others work in operations roles beyond Customer Success, and others are looking for their first job in tech. I’ve seen all those types of people find the right role for them, and launch off successfully into this fresh career.
My advice holds the same for all these types of folks:
- Get familiar with Customer Success Operations (CS Ops) in general, which is the team where a Gainsight Admin role often sits
- Stay up-to-date with the latest in CS Ops
- Learn about how to make the transition
