we have some products that we have been discontinuing over time. At the launching phase we have promoted then with topics and replies.

Descontinued product information, what to do with the post/topic?
I have wondered this also, in our case about deprecated features.
I figure if you remove the topics, someone searching for it won’t know it’s discontinued. Also not sure what that does to the users’ stats who participated in the threads.
Using the label didn’t occur to me but I think that’s the best option as it’s visible right away, and I’d also add a closing comment from a mod saying it’s discontinued and close further comments for good measure.
