Hi, we’ll close our community so that all its content is visible to logged in members only. However, we have one article describing how to sign up to the community with SSO, we’d like to link to in the sign up window, that also non registered users can se. Would that be possible?

If thats the case, you would need to customize all parent category permissions to registered users, except for a category visible to non-registered users. To view how to set permission, view this article:
