Ability to have different search configurations for different User groups.

If we’re talking about the standard search box, this would be awesome.  I have a few departments that view their accounts differently from others.  So it would be cool if I could split up the views based on Group or something - so that when searching they see their items.  And my other departments can see theirs.  Then everyone is happy!
