New to Gainsight user here. I'm setting up a Rules Engine rule to send an email using Marketo. The Rules Engine action step includes several actions:
1. Send email using Marketo
2. Load to Milestone
3. Load to Customers (to set a date field)
I've noticed that when setting up a CTA, there is an option on the CTA to allow it to set the CTA once every X days. I'd like to have this functionality for the other action types (mentioned above), but better yet, I'd love to set it at the rule level. Rather than allow an account to qualify for the rule, only to be excluded at the action step, I'd really like to prevent the account from qualifying to run through the rule altogether.
Any best practices or suggestions on how to accomplish this?
I've tried a few different things, but nothing has worked quite how I'd like so far. I'm thinking the best option would be to create a custom date field on the customer info object for each Rule, and setting that date when the rule runs, and using it as a filter. But I'd like to avoid having a ton of custom date fields for each rule.
