We have some international reps who are using bcc to timeline for emails in French and are seeing a replacement character (diamond with a question mark) for special character letters, for example “é”, “è” or “à". These letters are relatively prevalent in their correspondence so it's making for an odd user experience. Is there any way to make these valid characters?

Could you confirm if your users are using Outlook to send email for using Email to Timeline ? If yes, are they using web version or through app?

They're using outlook.

Are they using Outlook app (installed on Computer) ? Or are they using outlook web by logging into their Outlook version in a browser ?

Sorry - I misread, Outlook app!

Could you ask your end users who are using Email to Timeline to select their outlook setting as shown in highlighted boxes above and then retry logging the activities using Email to Timeline ?

Thanks! I will have them try.

Thanks! I will have them try.

This worked - thanks again!

Thanks for letting me know that it worked for you :)

Thanks, trying now with German special characters, as we have the same issue with umlauts.

Cheers,
