Changing the Start of the Week Day in Usage Configuration

I am looking for the process to follow and what potential risks are to changing the "Start of the Week" day in Usage Configuration.

When I first changed the day, all usage data disappeared from under Adoption pane.

If day is changed, is it simply a matter of rerunning load to usage rules to repopulate data under new start of the week labels?

    Hi,

    I am looking for the process to follow and what potential risks are to changing the "Start of the Week" day in Usage Configuration.

    We don't advice to change the Usage Configuration. This is a one time job. Since the existing data is aggregated based on the Usage Configuration,changing the week label will mess up the data. 
    NOTE: Changing the Usage Configuration will create a mess for Scorecard data also.

    If day is changed, is it simply a matter of rerunning load to usage rules to repopulate data under new start of the week labels?

    Since the existing data remains in the object, we shouldn't rerun the rule.
