[Customer Ask] Optimization of Auto Search of Customer Search Box (Global)

In Customer search at top right side if you type the customer name then auto search will start from 5th character not from 1st to 4th characters.

But, if we need to search at any point till the 5th character then manually "Enter key" or "Search button" to be pressed. So, is there any future plan to optimize the "Auto Search mechanism"?

I am not sure if I am following you correctly. Does the customer need ability to start search hitting "enter key" right away, rather than wait for autosearch to trigger after 5th character?

Correct, in other words, auto search should start from 1st character itself as currently, It starts from 5th character (above video link as reference).

I think you're referring to the same thing I was about to post. For me, I mostly notice when a customer's name begins with an acronym or a number. It will not populate any suggestions until I hit space and begin typing the second word.

For example, for ABC Corp, it won't find it until you get to the C in Corp.
