Has anyone enabled the Scorecard Timeline function yet in SFDC edition?  (New feature as of today in Prod, but I’m testing out in Sandbox right now)

I converted the Scorecard to use timeline (via the message that displayed when I accessed Admin, Scorecard 2.0) and I see the Timeline now displays when I click on a Scorecard measure:

However, when I run a rule to populate a scorecard measure, the information in the Comments: box does not appear to be creating a Timeline entry (see below).

Rule Action
No Activities on the Scorecard Measure Timeline

The Draft Release notes stated that the Comments: box in the rule would create a Timeilne entry now instead… but that isn’t happening in my Sandbox.  Anyone else experience this?

I believe that comments generated via rules are updated once per week. The intent is to prevent clutter in the comment history. @shantan_reddy can you confirm and provide your inputs as well, please?

Thanks @dan_ahrens - In my example, when I run the rule that updates the CSM Sentiment, I need to include the comment as to why it has been set that way so that anyone looking at it will know why the score was set that way.

That’s how it functioned previously - when you ran the rule it immediately would add the comment so that it was instantly available for end users to review

What you’re describing would prevent end users from seeing the latest comments (i.e. reason the score changed) until later in the week?  That doesn’t seem like the ideal scenario.

@darkknight The latest comment should show up immediately. We keep updating the same timeline activity with the latest comment if there are multiple comments added within the week.

The last comment in the week would be the one that gets stored once the week ends. While the week is in progress, it is always up-to-date with the latest comment.

I have added the team, so they can look into the issue.

Thanks @shantan_reddy! I assume more documentation with details such as this will be available here later?

@darkknight Yes, we will add this detail as well.

@prashant_mathapathi Can you please add the detail in this thread to the feature docs? We can be clearer about the behaviour in the docs.

From my previous comment in this thread:

The latest comment shows up immediately. We keep updating the same timeline activity with the latest comment if there are multiple comments added within the week.

The last comment in the week would be the one that gets stored once the week ends. While the week is in progress, it is always up-to-date with the latest comment.

Thanks@shantan_reddy . The Release Notes and the associated doc are now updated.  The article link is:
