Notify members when they receive a badge
Hi everyone - firstly, Happy New Year!
To kick off 2018, we've made a new feature for self-service badges available: configurable badge notifications.
For each badge, you can set up an individual notification message that will be sent to a member when they acquire the badge. You can choose to send the notification via private message or email.
Private message notifications
- Choose the moderator that the private message is sent from.
- Define the message content of the private message.
Email notifications
- Define the subject line and the message content of the email.
Notifications can be set up for any existing badges created using the self-service badges tool - however, they cannot be configured for legacy badges.
And, just a reminder - badge configuration is only accessible to Admins.
