We want to begin using Timeline but have noticed that we aren't able to report on the custom fields we create. This would be a requirement for us to change over. Is this feature enhancement on the roadmap?

Hi Kate, if you create custom fields they are available to use in reporting on the Activity Timeline object. This functionality is available today. Have you had trouble reporting on custom fields?
Hi Dan! Actually, I think this was a delay issue - we added a field, used it in a test case for a Timeline meeting, and then tried to report on it, but the field didn't show up as an option in reporting. Now (an hour later) it does show up! Thanks for checking on this.
I have a follow up question on this - in order to report on it do you need to add the custom field to the MDA?

You just need to create custom field from Admin > Activities and Timeline and it will be automatically available for reporting.

I would love the ability to not only choose the field type for new Timeline fields but also be able to configure the details of that field (such as # of decimals for a number field).
