Sharing rule limitations

Hello All, 

 

I am working for granting access of Company records on the basis of regions and sub-regions(Fields created on user object) as per the business requirement. However while working on the sharing rules I reached the limit and the system is throwing error that the sharing rules have been approached the limit of 10 rules. 

Could anybody please help me which approach should I follow to overcome this issue.

        Hi Manik

         

        Currently this is hardcoded to 10 . What is a reasonable limit from your perspective. All these rules are evaluated in-memory and more number of rules may mean maintenance overhead of which rule is meant for what. We can make this configurable and set a limit per tenant for now. Let me know what limit works for your team?
