unable to group by certain fields in reporting
I am unable to group by a user/name field, and I think this may be because the data type of this field is a formula. Are formula fields not able to be grouped by even if they contain non-numeric values?

I think the problem you are seeing is that you cannot group by formula or number field types.
It appears that the field in question refers to a user (CSM), however if it's not a lookup field type, but instead a formula driven field type, you cannot group by that specific field.
