Why can't Opt-Out Language be non-Default for emails marked as "Operational"?

I am working on a global outreach that includes both French and English speaking customers. This email is operational in nature. I usually set the Opt-Out language to match the preferred language of the customer. However, I am noticing that this is not possible when an email is marked as Operational.

Why is this locked to English (or to the Default)?

Hi Ben,

When the email template is of type operational, The unsubscribe footer will not be present in the email. So language options will not be applicable. That is the reason we lock that option.

Thanks,
Vinay

On that note, it may be nice to change the gray'ed out option to something other than "English". I get what you are saying, but it could be more intuitive in the product.
