Question
Why does Journey Orchestrator send a Rule Execution email that is vague and why is stated as a Custom Rule?
In addition to Rules Engine sending a Rule execution email (success/failure), Journey Orchestrator sends notifications for each query run. While the email is helpful if there are failures, the email sounds confusing:
"Your request to run the following Custom rule succeeded. Results can be downloaded from Rules execution history page. Below is a summary of the rule execution."
You can't download rule execution from Journey Orchestrator or Rule Engines. You can preview results from a dataset task and you can view participants and troubleshoot individual errors but you can't download a full rule execution. Additionally this is seems to be a "Bionic Rule" and not "Custom" as the email states.
Unless this intended behavior, I'd suggest that the wording of these email notifications be modified to make more sense and provide more useful information for Journey Orchestrator Programs and troubleshooting.
