Hi Scott

I am on a GS training instance.

Doing exercises in prep for L2 Cert and currently working with JO.

The training instance does not come with any email addresses I can use.

I pulled in a CSV to setup sources for JO program and I believe GS does not like the email addresses. I used a set of test addresses in a domain I own.

How to get a set of addresses whitelisted for experimentation?

thx

Hi Scott,

We are trying to troubleshoot our dashboard scoring rules, and had a couple questions regarding how the ‘Span of’ subtraction and ‘Date Diff’ formulas are working.

When compared with the way Excel calculates dates, this is what I’m seeing for the calculations:

I think what this means is, in order to capture a full 31 days worth of data, we’d need to subtract 32 days in the span of formula?

Also, in order to get the Date Diff formula to match with excel, we need to add one day to it?

Just wanted to talk through and validate with you the logic behind these formulas, as we didn’t initially get the results we expected.

Thanks!

Edit - Adding a screenshot viewing my formulas in Excel, in case it helps:

Hi Scott, we have created a solution for tracking CSM KSOs at the Company level that assigns RYG health scores, but we are not using scorecards, just custom objects and rules that populate the RYG values.

The challenge we are having is in aggregating the company health scores into a single “book of business” health score for each CSM. Even if we were using scorecards, Gainsight wouldn’t do the math for us at the “CSM book of business” level. Is there a standard or best practice formula for how to do this type of aggregation in a rule?

Hey Scott, I couldn’t attend the meeting but I had a question on Delete API request?

I referred support doc for deletion request from API but wanted a knowledge/video on how to achieve on my use case below

Use Case: We are interested in implementing an automatic record deletion process for a custom low-volume object. This particular object contains historical company data, and we aim to automatically remove data that is older than 3 months on a daily basis. Is this achievable?

Reason: Low volume has a specific threshold limit for records, which is set at 1 million. As a result, once this limit is reached, no new records will be able to be created.

Workaround: Shifting this object from Low Volume to High Volume could be beneficial, but it's worth noting that it will require significant reconfiguration of most of the rules, which could be a time-consuming and laborious process. If there are no alternative options, I am willing to proceed with this approach.

Solution Needed: If there’s any way to delete prior to 3 months old data please help with the steps/video explaining the way to achieve this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Abhishek
