The very first Analytics FAQ notes 3 report options that can be used to see ‘average duration of a user’ but I don’t think any of the reports mentioned do that (Adoption Report/Path Analyzer/Audience Explorer).
The only place I have seen duration is aggregated in a dashboard widget, but that is not by user (unless you filter by user inside the widget).
