I’m looking into adding a button to this blog article that I’m featuring in my community’s homepage. I would like to add a button with the CTA “Read More” and that links directly to the blog article that I’m highlighting. Any suggestions? Thank you

There are a couple of ways you could achieve this or something of similar effect.
If you want the exact style of design that you have suggested above then I would suggest building a custom HTML widget, although this method does require some knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Another method you could use, that doesn’t require writing any code, would be the Featured Topics widget.
For the Featured Topics widget, you could simply add this topic as a single featured topic but then also add a button below that you could link directly to the blog. For example:
