Good day all!

Hoping someone can clarify how the content views are defined in the Analytics view.

The titles are clear enough: Registered Views, Guest views, and total views.

My question is that the view counts I see in the inSided Dashboard do not equate to what I see in Google Analytics at all.  inSided counts are much higher (92,000 compared to 62,000).

Can anyone explain exactly how the inSided counts work (and why there is such a discrepancy)?

I don’t exactly trust GA anyway, though if we know for sure that the inSided counts are accurate, I can forego the GA counts (which are a pain anyway)!

Hi Michael, thanks for your question! Regarding the difference between Google Analytics and inSided data, we just made an update in our audience dashboard, you can find more information on the update and how we calculate unique visitors in this product update topic. Sessions are not part of the dashboard and that is also an open idea

We know there is quite a difference between Google Analytics and inSided data, which also has been discussed in this topic. In general, the Google Analytics data will be too low due to eg ad blockers. This especially applies with tech savvy audiences, as yours (see this external article).

Hope this helps!

Haiko
