While editing email notifications for Badges. I came across the fact they were able to take html (Thanks
BUT they do not get a preview like in the system email editor.
So I used an online html viewer to test the html I would then paste into the very little text box on the badge

Works a treat for identifying formatting issues or poorly chosen color schemes.
