Hello,

Is it possible to grant badge for something had been done within the specific period?

I mean, for instance, such badge like "The most useful helper of 2018" which should be granted to a member who provided the highest amount of Answers during 2018/-19/-xx year.
Hi Rodion,

this is not possible at the moment, unfortunately. While we are technically able to create this, our focus is different:

We want the Badges to be self-service, so that every Community Manager can add / change / delete a Badge if he/she likes. To make sure that the system will always work and that we do not have to assist you with every Badge, we had to choose for a limited set of rules.

A Badge like this would be very specific, also only one user would receive it every year. I like the idea, but I have the feeling that other Community Managers are wishing for other improvements.

I have heard many times now that people want to be able to give Badges to individual users manually.

This would also make it possible for you to give a Badge to the user who has posted the most within a year: Simply check in the Members Dashboard who has posted the most, and then create + assign the Badge to that user.

So if I were you, I would vote for this idea so that we hopefully will implement this in the future! ;)

Cheers,

Julian

Done, sir!

Sure, the workaround is OK too.
