Can I use a tag to generate a Federated Search Result. For example, if my tag is the word ‘widget’, can I see results for Community, SkillJar (my Univ. platform), etc.

Just to clarify, are you referring to public tags?
This currently isn’t possible and would be categorised as a feature request. A “tags” property would need to be added to the request body schema for the API call.
